Past Productions

Scope for Imagination has been teaching and producing theatre in Porto and Matosinhos since 2024, creating offerings for children, teens, and adults in English and Portuguese. 

• Dracula, an adaption of the famous novel, was written by the Scope for Imagination creative writing teen's class, performed in June 2026.

• To the Ones Who Dream, an original play about imagination, dreams, and the iconic São Joāo festival in Porto. Co-created by Director Helena Almeida and her children's theatre class and performed in 2025. 

The magic of São João came to the stage in a play that reminds us we must dream as children do, however impossible it may seem. It is a story about courage and hope, about the vitality of childhood, about the power of wonder, of laughing, of festivity, and of art. 

• The Haunting of Mafamood, Halloween 2025

An immersive and interactive performance unlike anything you have seen before: at once a theatrical play and a haunted house tour. In this improvisation-based show, the monsters of Halloween are spooky, frightfully funny, and utterly unexpected.
